Space Analysis
The analyzes space is a geographical step hypothético - deductive which aims to include/understand logics, the causes and the consequences of the localization of the settlements and the activities of the human ones. It leaves the postulate according to which space is organized actor. It is a nomothetic science thus it aims at proposing a modelled approach of the geographical space by highlighting recurring forms of organization space and theories, in particular through various concept-keys: distance, Network X, Structure, Situation… space only is thus not regarded as a simple support but a decisive element of an social organization.
It is a question of taking into account a complex whole of physical and human data to analyze spatial distributions of various phenomena, by taking guard not to fall into the strict Déterminisme. The reasoning of space analysis is based much on the data Statistique S and on isotropic spaces (that makes it possible to work out theories essentially which are then applied to real space, anisotropic, by taking account of the characteristics).
