Soyuzmultfilm Studio

The studios Soyuzmultifilm (located at Moscow) were created the June 20th 1936 in order to concentrate all the best artists of the Russian Animation, the beginnings of the latter tonic with 1912. They are the most famous studios of Europe of the time, and they produced the jewels of Russian animation .

The first years of the existence of the studio (1936-1938) were devoted to the control of the technology of the Celluloïd. Years 1940-50 see appearing with the studio new artists, of which graduates of the federal Institut of State of the Cinema (the VGIK) and other establishments. In 1950, the studio leaves remarkable “traditional” films designed mainly for the children.
