Souzdal ( Су́здаль ) is a city of the Oblast of Vladimir, Russia, in the North-East of Moscow. It is with 26 kilometers of the town of Vladimir, on the river Kamenka.

The city appears for the first time in the history in the year 1024. It was during several hundred years the capital of several Russian principalities.
