Souy

The Souy is a left Affluent of the Échez, upstream of the Géline, in the French Département of the Hautes-Pyrénées.

Etymology

The name of Souy is related with that of the Souye.

Geography

Souy is born, with the side is plate of Ger and Pouey Mayou (540 m). It joined Échez with Oursbelille.

Souy skirts by the west its affluent Mardaing, which crosses the following villages:

  • (G) l' Arriou Wrong / Riu Wrong , coming from the plate of Ger .

  • (D) the Mardaïng , coming from the forest of Os and of the Soum of the Guard (574 m).
