The district of southernmost Banat , in Serb Cyrillic Serb Јужнобанатскиокруг and in transliterated Južnobanatski okrug, is a district of Serbia located in the autonomous province of Voïvodine. It belongs to the area of the Serb Banat. In 2002, it counted 313.937 inhabitants. The administrative center is the town of Pančevo.

  • Yugoslav: 5.687 (1,81%)

All the municipalities of the district have a majority of Serbes, except for the municipality of Kovačica which is mixed, with a relative majority the Slovak ones (41%).
