Southern Tablelands

The Southern Tablelands (in French: " plates of the sud") are an area not officille of the News-Wales-of-South in Australia. The area is located at the west of the Great Dividing Range around the towns of Yass, Crookwell and Boorowa.

It is about a vast plate to approximately 900 meters of altitude which was practically completely deforested to make feed cattle. The area is easily accessible starting from Canberra

With the Southern Highlands, the area forms the known tourist district under the name of Capital Country.

In a broader direction, " Southern Tablelands" the Monaro, the " gather; Southern Highlands" and Canberra.
