Southern Abidjan

It is the part located on the tape lagunaire of Abidjan, in the south of the Lagune Ébrié.

Composition

  • Koumassi : have an industrial park.

  • Marcory : primarily a residential zone.
  • Port-Bouët: One finds there the International airport Felix Houphouët-Boigny.
  • Treichville : it shelters the port authority of Abidjan as well as many trade. The port area is also an industrial park. But also the swimming pool of State de Treichville (FART), the Palate Omnisport de Treichville, the Palate of the culture, street 12, the Hippodrome of Abidjan…
    • Island Boulay.

Each one of these communes has its own municipal council directed by a mayor.
