Southcourt
Doğu Perinçek , born the June 17th 1942 with Gaziantep (Turkey) is a Turkish Politician .
Workman for 10 months in Germany in 1962 and 1963, it studies the right to the university of Ankara and obtains his Doctorat in 1968, year when it founds the review Aydınlık (Clearness).
In 1969 it founds the Türkiye İhtilalci İşçi Köylü Partisi (Left working and country revolutionist Turkey) . It is required after the coup d'etat military of the March 12th 1971 and stopped in May 1972. Condemned to 20 years of prison, it is released at the time of the general amnesty of May 1974.
After the coup d'etat of the September 12th 1980 it is stopped and condemned to 8 years of prison, then released in March 1985.
In 1990 it is elected general president with the 2nd congress of the Sosyalist Parti (Socialist party) dissolved in July 1992 by the Constitutional court. He is then elected general president of the İşçi Partisi (Left the workers) .
In 1998 it is placed as a police custody and is shown of assistance to PKK in the form of money and of weapons. He is then condemned for remarks made in 1991 on television at 14 month of prison and remains in prison until August 1999. Recovering its civic rights to the favor of a law on the violations of the press laws, he is again elected general president of İşçi Partisi.
Turkey was condemned twice by the European Cour of the Human rights in businesses relating to Doğu Perinçek:
- by a stop of the May 25th 1998 about the dissolution of the Sosyalist Left;
- by a stop of the June 21st 2005 about its judgment in 1998.
The March 9th 2007, D. Perincek was condemned by the police court of Lausanne (first authority) to have uttered on Swiss territory, with Lausanne and Zurich of the remarks negationnists of the genocide of the Armenians, enfreignant by there the article 261bis Swiss Penal code; racial segregation. The sorrow is a fine 3000 Swiss francs and a pecuniary sorrow in day-amends of 9000 francs (90 days with 100 francs) with deferment during two years. In its judgment, the court made ressotir the racist remarks and negationnists of the defendant. Its lawyer promised to appeal.
