South Park is gay ( South Park Is Gay! in original version) is the eighth episode of the seventh season of the animated series South Park .

Synopsis

The tendency Métrosexuel conveyed by the increase in the number of emissions on the homosexual breaks in the small village and invades the thoughts of the children and the fathers. Kyle, Mr. Garrison and Mr. Esclave as well as the mothers is anxious…

Summary

After the program televised (the Queer, five experts in the American wind ) starts to be diffused, a program where a gay team of individuals openly gives councils of clothing and furnishing, the metrosexuality becomes a behavior dominating among the adults and the children, and all the men of the city start to act as if they were gay, except Kyle, which does not want to conform to the metrosexuality and starts to be stigmatized and beaten; Mr. Garrison and Mr. Esclave (two men already gay) is opposite the same with this behavior because they estimate that the gay culture should only belong to the gays. Chef, which chooses not to follow the whim Métrosexuel it, encourages Kyle to remain such as it is usually, Kyle then says to the chief that it did not feel métrosexuel just after a change of look. The women of the city were at the origin of this passion, because their husbands and wire showed thus better a Hygiène and finally communicated with them, but quickly the expansion of this new lifestyle tired them that, when they started to pay more attention to their own look that with that their women.

Kyle, Mr. Garrison and Mr. Esclave all New York will try to to kill the team of the five presenters of Queer Eye , but their mission fails. They then try to speak with the carefree stars, which refuse to stop what they make. Garrison requires to know how gays could betray their clean similar, then gradually realizes that they are not gays of the whole. The five, becoming suddenly serious, reveal the truth: their skin opens while bursting, revealing that they are in fact an old race “the Men crabs”, projecting to weaken the men with an aim of controlling the world.

Captured by the Men crabs, the professors and Kyle cannot prevent the plan of the five of “métrosexualiser” the president of the United States; however, the women, exasperated, attack finally the five Queer Eye and kill them. They explain why the men must be male and that it is what return attracting them, even if they are the rough ones. The producer was about to call the police force to stop them, before they discover the corpses of the Men crabs inside the bodies of the presenters. The producer, shocked, decides that it is time to make reappear the Latin fashion, the “Latino fashion”, which the inhabitants of South Park adopt immediately.

Kyle is again accepted at the school, but when it expresses its anger to be rejected, the other pupils treat it “tarlouse” and will play American football.

Comment

This episode points finger the instrumentalisation of the gay community (and all the communities in general: Afro-American E, Latino…) in the media and with the social status.
