South Ayrshire

The South Ayrshire ( Siorrachd Inbhir Air has deas in Scottish Gaélique) is one of 32 administrative divisions of the Scotland.

District

South Ayrshire is frontier East Ayrshire in the east and of Dumfries and Galloway in the south. This area was formed in 1996 on the basis of district of Kyle and Carrick .

Of a surface of 1.222 km ², South Ayrshire is the 15th administrative division of Scotland by its size and 17th by its population (111 850 inhabitants). Its administrative capital is Ayr.

Two elected officials represent South Ayrshire with the Parliament of Great Britain and two others with the Scottish Parlement. The party currently places from there is the Conservative party.
