South-eastern division (LNH)
In North America, the South-eastern Division of the National league of hockey was formed in 1998 as a part of the Conférence of the East at the time of the addition of the Predators of Nashville.
History of division
During its creation, division includes/understands four teams: the Hurricanes of the Caroline, the Panthers of Florida, the Lightning de Tampa Bay and the Capitals of Washington. In the past, Hurricanes, played in the North-eastern division while the three other franknesses evolved/moved in the division Atlantique.In 1999, the Thrashers of Atlanta join division and thus become the fifth team of this division. The list below introduces the champions of division since his creation.
- 1999 - Hurricanes of the Caroline
- 2000 - Capitals of Washington
- 2001 - Capitals of Washington
- 2002 - Hurricanes of the Caroline
- 2003 - Lightning de Tampa Bay
- 2004 - Lightning de Tampa Bay. The team also gains the Coupe Stanley against the Flames of Calgary on the score of 4 matches to 3.
- 2005 - Season cancelled because of the lockout
- 2006 - Hurricanes of the Caroline. The team also gains the Stanley Cut against the Oilers d' Edmonton in seven matches.
- 2007 - Thrashers of Atlanta
