South-Aviation is a aeronautical Constructeur French born the March 1957 of fusion between the aeronautical national company of construction of South-west (SNCASO) and of the aeronautical national company of construction of South-east (SNCASE).

In 1970. South-aviation amalgamates with North-Aviation and SEREB to create the Soci3et3e Nationale Industrielle Aerospatiale (SNIAS), known as aerospatiale. At that time, South-Aviation is, by far, the first European aeronautical manufacturer.

In 2000 aerospatiale is integrated into EADS.
