Souimanga with green back

The Souimanga with green back ( Nectarinia jugularis ) is a species of Oiseau Passériforme of the family of the nectariniidés .

Description

Souimanga is small a 12 cm length bird at the maximum. In the male and the female, the belly is of a conspicuous yellow, the green back olive, much more discrete. In the male, the face, the neck and the upper part of the belly are of a metal dark blue.

Distribution and habitat

Souimanga with green back is common since the south of the China until the Filipino , and of the Malaysia until the North-East of the Australia.

Bird originating in the Mangrove, it adapted well to the contact with the human ones and it does not hesitate to nest downtown.

Food
