Sosoye

Sosoye (in Walloon Sôzoye ) is a section of the common Belgian of Anhée located in Walloon region in the Province of Namur.

It was a commune with whole share before the fusion of the communes of 1977.

Sosoye belongs to the association which gathers the most beautiful villages of Wallonia.

Etymology

The name of Sosoye finds its origin in the Latin word saliceta meaning the willow plantations .
