Soria is a Ville of Spain on the Douro, in the autonomous community of Castille-and-León. It is the capital of the Province of Soria.

Located at the edge of the river Douro, in its high course, Soria counts 35  178 inhabitants (2003).

In spite of this modest number, that accounts for 40% of the population of the Province of Soria. That Ci is populated Spain even of the “continental” European Union with only 9 inhabitants with the km ².
