Sorgues (river of Aveyron)
The Sorgues is a French Rivière Massif Central in the south Aveyron.
Geography
It takes its source in the Causse of the Larzac close to Cornus via important a Résurgence to throw itself in the Dourdou de Camarès downstream from Saint-Affrique, very close to Vabres-l' Abbaye.

Its principal Affluent S is all on its Right Bank:

- the Verzolet
- the Vailhauzy (8 km) emerging in Saint-Affrique.

Not to confuse
With its Homonymous S Sorgues (Sorgue de Velleron, Sorgue de Bédarrides, etc) which is the various rivers, in “grid”, whose primary source is the Fountain of Vaucluse, immense Résurgence near to Avignon (Vaucluse), nor with the commune of Sorgues (Vaucluse).
