The kind Sorghum (sorghums) is a kind of Plante S herbaceous of the family of the Poaceae (Graminaceous) which includes/understands a score of Espèce S of the moderate and hot areas. Several of them are cultivated like fodder plants or Céréale S.

The sorghums undoubtedly more used is the common Sorgho ( Sorghum bicolor ). Nevertheless, one uses also hybrids like the sorghum of Sudan ( Sorghum ×drummondii ) as well as other species.

Sorghum is derived from a word of Indian origin sorghi indicating these plants. The sorghum makes it possible to obtain the millet.
