The village was rebuilt following devastations of the First World War. During the years 1920, the architect Louis Is necessary, originating in Nurlu, was named responsible for all the operations of rebuilding of the village. This last carried out there in particular the town hall-school as well as the church (1932). The stained glasses of the church are the work of Louis Barillet.
