Sophie Delong

Sophie Delong is a French political woman, born the July 17th 1957 with Joinville (Haute-Marne).

She is member of the Union for a popular movement.

Biography

It obtains its diploma of Doctor of medicine in 1986 with the Université Nancy-I. In 1987, it is received with the certificate of special studies of occupational medicine and in 1991, it obtains the diploma of university of human, dietetic nutrition and of therapeutic dietetics .

Married and mother of four children, it is the substitute for Luc Chatel during its first legislative mandate of 2002 to 2007. For the legislative elections of 2007, it is again substitute for Luc Chatel, the outgoing deputy of the First district of Haute-Marne. This one is re-elected as of the first turn the June 10th 2007, by obtaining 53,89% of the voices. It is named in the Gouvernement Francois Fillon (2) on June 19th. Sophie Delong thus became appointed on July 20th, 2007 in replacement. She sits within the group UMP and is Member of the Commission of the cultural, family and social affairs.
