Sonnenallee (film, 1999)

Sonnenallee is a German film carried out by Leander Haußmann, left in 1999, describing, on a comic tone, the life of young inhabitants of the German Democratic republic (GDR) during the Années 1970. The Sonnenallee (“gone of the sun”) is a street of Berlin of which the southern part was a point of passage between East Berlin and West Berlin. The film, which required nearly 3 years of preparation, is the first cinematograhic realization of the director of Théâtre Leander Haußmann, which has coécrit the scenario with Detlev Buck according to the novel of Thomas Brussig Am kürzeren Ende der Sonnenallee published the same year.
