A European chorus of women
In France, one knows especially the mixed choruses, or the choruses of men, and very seldom the choruses of women. Song of Them is a chorus of women directed by a woman; a characteristic which distinguishes it. It moves in all Europe and has with its credit, a great number of concerts.
The philosophy of the chorus
All the concerts are carried out in free entry. Song of Them sings for charity associations, in the hospitals, the old people's homes, the old people's homes, various institutes, etc
The repertory
Chant of Them invests a varied repertory of the origins at our days with polyphonies of the Whole world and always has cappella.
The repertory is sought and chosen by Sylvia Cazeneuve which undertakes a work of ethnomusicology then. It retranscribes on paper the partitions of the songs which it generally found of oral transmission. It then carries out a harmonization which respects the culture from which comes the song and its musical specificities.
