Sonatas of bar

Sonates of bar is a collection of short texts (of two each one pages) of Herve Tellier published in 2001 with the editions the Astral Beaver . This work was initially published at Seghers in 1991. It gathers a whole of small news written for a Parisian weekly magazine, the Event of Thursday . They were published there between 1985 and 1987. The current edition is illustrated by gouaches and watercolours of Yoko Ueta.

Synopsis

The Sonates put in scene the life of a small bar of district. Each short account corresponds to an event or a moment in particular and titrates it each one is the name of a cocktail which the main character is used for the customer of each account.

One of this news is a homage to the mathematician Paul Erdős that the author met little before the death of this last.
