Sonata for piano of Bartók
The Sonata for Piano BB 88 (Sz. 80) is a work written by Béla Bartók in 1926.
Béla Bartók composed of very many partitions for piano but only one Sonate (if his sonatine is forgotten), the remainder being primarily collections of short parts. The instrument is used with a percussive and dissonant component, even if the writing remains tonal.
1926 is one year particularly creative, pianistiquement, for the musician, who writes, in addition to his sonata, its first concerto and its continuation In the open air BB89.
The sonata includes/understands three movements and its execution lasts approximately a little less than fifteen minutes.
