Sonata for piano n° 19 of Schubert
The Sonata for piano n° 19 in C minor, D. 958 is the nineteenth Sonate (on 21) of Franz Schubert, made up in September 1828.
It is about the one of its last completed works (with the sonatas for piano n° 20 and n° 21 and its Quintette in major C ) since he dies in November of the same year. It was published besides only on a purely posthumous basis nearly 10 years after the death of the musician.
It comprises four movements and its execution takes approximately thirty minutes:
- Allegro
- Adagio
- Menuetto: Allegro - trio
- Allegro
