The Somoza were the Patronyme of influential a Dynastie Politique of the Nicaragua. This influence will perdura during 33 years on the political life of the country. Three members of this dynasty were president of the republic.

• Anastasio Somoza García (1896 - 1956) of 1937 with 1947 and of 1950 with 1956

• Shine Somoza Debayle (1922 - 1967), his/her oldest son, chair 1956 1963,
