Sommersby

Sommersby is an American remake of 1993, transposed on the end of the American Civil War of French film of 1982: the Return of Martin War , whose historical framework was the 16th century.

Synopsis

Just after the end of the American Civil War, whereas Jack Sommersby disappeared, undoubtedly killed with the combat, and his Laurel wife took in hand the businesses of the property without him. She does not regret it more than that, because he was a hard man and an abusive husband.

But one day, Jack returns. Laurel finds it more delicate and completely changed. Is this an impostor?
