Somerset (Manitoba)
Somerset is a farming community of the Manitoba located at 130 km in the west of Winnipeg, in edge of the hills Pembina. It counts 450 inhabitants. It is a bilingual community. 60% of the population are French-speaking there.
History
The first pioneers were originating in the English area of the Somerset, from where the name of the municipality. In 1889 Somerset sees arrived the railroad North Western Railroad .
