Quelqu'un of other tells us the history of two men who decide one evening of cooked to change life. The first will improvise private detective, and will even remake a new face for all to start again; while the second, following this meeting, discovers the intoxication of the alcohol which completely will change its life.

Analyzes

This novel, at the same time dark and funny, plunges us in the search for identity as of these two anti-heroes; in an incredibly rythmée way, the author alternates the life of each character and details their foolish course towards the new destiny which they wish to take in hands.

A comment that J, would like to add:

I think that this book is well made and original; it is a little as if our two heroes had returned at their starting points; tennis. That gives a little the impression to me which the account is not finished and which all is possible as from this moment. Perhaps the fact that both started again to be interested in tennis means that there is something of fundamental in us, something which cannot be changed.

Unquestionable thing, this book strikes by the originality of the history. Complicated and simple at the same time. Complicated because of the stories in the history and simple because one never loses sight of the fact the head office of the account (I should perhaps say “” accounts because of the stories in the history). I find that it is well written and that the author can make run a text. Unquestionable thing it forces a certain reflection on the practices which one can have and the needs which these same practices answer.
