Someday My Prince Will Like
Someday My Prince Will As is an album of Jazz of Miles Davis recorded in March 1961.
Whereas the cover mentions Miles Davis Sextet, only the first track brings together six interpreters, with John Coltrane uniting with the quintet of Miles Davis of then. Coltrane, which had never played the piece before, there created one of these more famous solos, which will be later partly taken again by Chick Corea. It is the last time that Davis recorded with Coltrane (which took part in its precedent quintet), like with Philly Joe Jones.
The woman on the cover is that of Miles, Frances.
