Solomon Laurent Juneau (August 9th 1793 - November 14th 1856) is an American politician born with the Canada. It founded the town of Milwaukee in the State of the Wisconsin in 1818 and was the first mayor of 1846 to 1847.

Its nephew is Joseph Juneau (1836-1899), the gold digger which gave his name to the town of Juneau, the capital of the Alaska.
