Solomon II of Ethiopia

Solomon II of Ethiopia Négus of Ethiopia of 1777 with 1779.

Solomon II is the son of the Prince ( Abeto ) Adigo itself wire of Négus Iyasou II of Ethiopia and his premère wife Amhara.

He is carried to the throne after the death of Takla Haïmanot II of Ethiopia in September 1777 by the two victorious war leaders: Short-nap cloth Goucho former governor of the Amhara (1767-1771) and his/her brother Dejazmatch Wand Bawossen governor of the Begamder (1770+1777). He must abdicate as of the July 20th 1779 and withdraw himself in a monastery where he dies in 1782.

He leaves a son the future Négus Baeda Maryam II of Ethiopia.
