the Soloists of Paris is a chamber orchestra French
History
Created in 1964 by Henri-Claude Fantapié, the orchestra is the natural sequence of the Chamber orchestra of the Foundation of Monaco , created in 1958 by the same chief.Quickly it takes seat among the best the twenty years European chamber orchestras following.
The orchestra takes part in a great number among the principal European festivals and voyage much, recording for all the principal radios, it is also chosen by many soloists to accompany them in their rounds: Paul Tortelier, Henryk Szeryng, Mstislav Rostropovitch, Pavel and Leonid Kogan, Nicanor Zabaleta, Mady Mesplé, Anna-Maria Leaped, Marcel Andre, Bernard Soustrot, Jacques-Francis Manzone, Raphaëlle of the Gravels, etc)
Repertory
The orchestra records many discs (the album of work for voice and orchestra of Villa-Lobos is preceded by the Académie of the French disc) thanks to a very vast repertory which leaves the French Baroque (François Couperin in particular) and Italian (Antonio Vivaldi, Giuseppe Maria Jacchini, Giuseppe Aldrovandini for example) with many news, and goes until the modern music and the jazz, with however a predilection for the music of Joseph Haydn (Stabat MATER, symphonies, concertos).
