Solid mass of Will silver plate

The massive of Will silver plate , or in Italian massive Alpi Marittime , is a solid mass of the the Alps located at horse on the Italian Piedmont and the department French of the the Alpes-Maritimes. Its French part is called Massif of Mercantour.

Geography

The solid mass of Argentera shelters the Parco naturale Alpi Marittime. The principal tops are:
  • the Cime of Will silver plate, 3.297 m, the culminating point
  • the Summit of Nasta, 3.108 m
  • the Mount Matto, 3.088 m
  • the Summit of Braus, 3.067 m
  • the Summit of Brocan, 3054 m

Geology

The solid mass consists of crystalline rocks very old (approximately 350 million years), mainly of the Gneiss.
