Solemnity

In the Catholic church, much of celebrations carry the title of solemnity . The name of solemnity is reserved only for the most important celebrations like the nativity of Christ and Easter. Less important celebrations carry the titles of festival, memory and Commémoration.
Regular solemnities

January 1st: Celebrates Holy Marie, Mère of God
- January 6th: Epiphany of the Lord
- March 19th: Joseph saint, husband of the Happy Virgin Mary.
- March 25th: Annunciation of the Lord
- June 24th: Nativity of Saint Jean-Baptiste
- June 29th: holy Pierre and holy Paul
- August 15th: Assumption of the Happy Virgin Mary.
- November 1st: All Saints' day
- December 8th: Immaculate-Design of the Happy Virgin Mary.
- December 25th: Nativity of Our Lord Jesus-Christ
Mobile solemnities
- Pentecost
- Very Holy Trinity
- Very Holy Body and Blood of Christ
- Very Sacred Heart of Jesus
Easter and the Triduum are regarded as most solemn of solemnities.
