Soledad Fariña Vicuña

Soledad Fariña Vicuña (Antofagasta, 1943) is a poetess Chile enne.

She studied administrative political sciences and with the Université of Chile, philosophy and humanities with the Université of Stockholm; sciences and the Arab culture at the University of Chile and it has a master in literature at the University of Chile.

Its poetic work was translated into English, French or Catalan and it took part in the poetic anthologies and events several universities and institutions: University of Chile, Universidad Católica, Universidad de Los Lagos, USACH, Univ. Diego Portales, Universidad de Concepción; Universidad de Valdivia; Columbia University; The Catholic University in George Town and Washington; Mount Hollyoke College, Smith College (Massachusetts); The City University off New York; Universidad Río Piedras, Puerto Rico; New York University (NYU); Put del Poeta, Mexico City; Central Farming of España, Buenos Aires; Sociedad de Escritores de Chile in el Encuentro de Poesía Joven of Latinoamérica; Meet poets of the Southern Cone of Coquimbo, etc
