Solar lake
The solar lake is a Lac salted located near the Red Sea at approximately 18 km at the south of Eilat in the peninsula of the the Sinai in Israel.
Of modest size (140 m out of 50 m, with a depth from 4 to 6 m according to the seasons) and of strong Salinity, it is the seat of complex biochemical phenomena related to the cycles of evaporation and infiltration of the site. It shelters a specific fauna and a flora of which in particular Stromatolithe S.
