The Sognsvann is a Lac in the north of Oslo (Norway).

Located in the green belt around Oslo, Sognsvann is a popular destination among inhabitants of the Norwegian capital, who can come there to camp, spade-screw or bathe in summer, and there to practice the Ski touring, the Patinage or the Pêche on ice in winter. The path which surrounds it is a place of walk or jogging all the year. Because of the great pedestrians number, the bicycle is on the other hand prohibited there.

The frequentation of the lake comes in particular from her accessibility from Oslo: the Sognsvann station, located at the southern end of the lake, is the terminus of line 3 of the Oslo T-Hamper (subway of Oslo).
