Sogliano Al Rubicone

Sogliano Al Rubicone is a common Italian of the Province of Forlì-Césène in the area Emilie-Romagna in Italy.

Geography

Located at 379 meters of altitude on the hills of the the Apennines romagnols, at 16 kilometers of his/her big sister Savignano sul Rubicone, at 15 kilometers of Santarcangelo di Romagna and 30 kilometers of Césène.

History

Can far from the city, two torrents take their source: the Pisciatello and the Rubicon, of which the famous business of Jules César with intoduit in the history. More especially as " dires" and of the charts exposed to the museum of the the Vatican would prove that there is confusion of name between the two torrents.
