Soga

The clan Soga is powerful a Japanese clan Life and 7th centuries. They were the first aristocrats Japan to be converted with the Bouddhisme, being thus opposed to the Nakatomi (representatives of the Shinto at the Court) and to the Mononobe. A true civil war started between them until the prince Shōtoku converts with Buddhism into 587.
