Soft food (sport)

A soft food , in the Sports of combat, is a means set up in order to involve a reaction of the adversary to its own advantage. It consists in ordering an action or an attitude at the adversary to benefit from it. This process Tactique belongs to the category of the frauds and in particular of the traps .

In this type of operations one speaks about techniques of Against-information.

In Sport of combat of percussion (Boxing, Karate, Taekwondo, Sanda, etc)

- “the simulation of a fault of displacement or placement, of a tactical error to oblige the adversary to pass to the offensive” (Example: to attract the opponent in the corner of the boxing ring, not to undergo its offensive but to place a counter-offensive (a crushing argument or a blow of against).

Concerning the soft foods of physiological” or “psychological” nature a “we find:

- “the simulation of a physical or mental difficulty” (to show a sudden tiredness, to show a lack of combattivity, to simulate a out-combat. (or “half-K.O”). For example in Boxing, while lying down on the cords in order to place a Against when the adversary is slackened or reacts. This type of attitude concerns a lack of sporting spirit and one names these athletes of the “perverts” not to say the vicious ones; what differentiates them largely from the athletes honest and using exclusively of mischievousness.
