Soft extermination
The soft extermination is a consequence of the aimings " aryennes" from the Nazi Germany. They considered that lunatics, or all those considered as such, harmed their " race". They thus sought to exterminate them. For that, they simply let these beings die of hunger, locked up in these prisons which were then the psychiatric hospitals. According to testimonys, unquestionable sick had ended up eating roots or ends of cover. One estimates at 40.000 the number of people thus died.
