Sodium benzoate

The benzoate of sodium , of chemical formula (Na+ + C6H5COO-) is the salt of Sodium of the Benzoic acid .

The benzoic acid is a natural product present in some Fruit S like the Canneberge S or Airelle S.

Uses

It is used, inter alia, like food Conservateur, referred in Europe under the code E211.

Effects on health

This Additif is authorized, but it is suspecté, only or in partnership with dyes and food additives to have effects on the Santé of the children.
