Sodiaal

Sodiaal is first French cooperative dairy whose principal marks are: Yoplait, Candia and RichesMonts.

History

  • 1964:6 regional cooperative dairies (Elnor, Be-Milk, Orlac, Rich Mounts, Sully, Ucalm) decides to create a common company (Sodima) to sell their products at the national level.
  • 1965: the co-operatives give up their regional marks and create the mark Yoplait
  • 1971: Sodima creates Candia, the first national milk mark.
  • 1982: Creation of the international research center Andre Gaillard (CRIAG).
  • 1990: Creation of Sodiaal

0rganisation of the Group

The group is divided into 5 activities:
  • Yoplait for the yahourts
  • Candia for milk
  • RichesMonts for the cheeses (Camembert cheese Rustic the, Cheese with RichesMonts scraper,…)
  • Sodiaal industry for the drieds milk (for industry and under the mark Régilait) and milks infantile
  • Beuralia for butter
