Socrat the Scholastic
Socrate the Scholastic or Socrate of Constantinople (Constantinople, C. 380 - 450) was a Roman historiographer Christian of Greek language, specialized in the history of the Church. Its most known work is the Historia Ecclesiastica i.e. Histoire of the Church , continuing that of Eusèbe de Césarée, energy of 306 with 439 and takes into account the profane history.
