Socket 2 belonged to a series of sockets standard in which took seat various microprocessors X86. It was a Socket 1 updated supporting the processors Pentium Overdrive.
Socket 2 was a socket LIF/ZIF PGA (19x19) of 238 pine conceived for the processors 5v, 25-50MHz 486 SX, 486 DX, 486 DX2, 486 DX4, DX4 OverDrive and 63/83MHz Pentium OverDrive.
