Sociedade Independente de Comunicação , more known under the name of SIC , is the third Portuguese general practitioner and private Television channel .
SIC the October 6th 1992 like first private Portuguese chain starts to emit. It belongs to the group Impresa of Francisco Pinto Balsemão. Very quickly the chain partly becomes the first chain of audiences thanks to the Brazilian Telenovelas of the group Globo
