Socialismo libertario

The brothers Arcadi and Boris Strougatski are Soviet writers of Science-fiction. Arcadi (1925 - 1991) and Boris (1933 -).

Their father has escaped with the Stalinist purgings , but the seat of Leningrad during the patriotic Great War did not survive.

Arcadi becomes translator for the army, specialized in particular in the Japanese. His/her Boris younger brother becomes Astrophysicien for its part. Their trades being complementary, they collaborate starting from 1958 to write science fiction.

In their novels, they seek an ideal but do not save the Soviet mode which starts to censure them in 1969. They then write clandestinely part of their work, partially diffused under the coat , then publish again in the great day in the Années 1980 with the Glasnost; their works will be translated and published by the Soviet editions official (Editions in foreign languages then Radouga), which made it possible to make known them beyond the borders of their country.
