Social and political female union

The Social and Political Female Union ( Women' S Social and Political Union , WSPU ) is a union which militated in favor of the Right to vote of the women in the the United Kingdom.

It was founded in 1903 with Manchester by Emmeline and Christabel Pankhurst which was the leader of this movement. The members of this group were the first with being known under the name of " Suffragette s".
