Snooky Pryor
Snooky Pryor (born the September 15th 1921 in Lambert in the the Mississippi and dead the October 19th 2006), of its true name James Edward Pryor , was a American Harmoniciste specialized in the Blues.
Biography
After having been useful in various Pacific Islands during the 2nd World war, it goes to New York, where it makes sessions for many labels (Planet, Ora Nelle, Opera, JOB…) and very early influenced by Sony Servant boy Williamson, Snooky Prior records some of the most popular pieces of the Chicago Blues in 1948, (of which Telephone Blues and Snooky & Moody' S Boogie with the guitarist Moody Jones). It falls into forgets at the end of the years 1960, but starts again a career in 1987 and records periodically until its death with old 85 years.
