Snatcher
Snatcher is a Video game of adventure (a graphic novel interactive) conceived and carried out by Hideo Kojima for the company Konami. Published on several machines, since PC-8801 and MSX 2 in 1988 to the consoles 32 bits Saturn and Playstation in 1996, only the version Mega-CD was translated and distribute apart from Japan. Play worship for certain players, this play of adventure takes again the topics of various works of Science-fiction and Cyberpunk like Blade Runner and Terminator .
All controversy begins with DOUBT
June 6th, 1996: a biological weapon of the name of Lucifer Alpha under development in a Russian laboratory with Chernoton escapes in the atmosphere, killing nearly 80% of the Eurasienne population and returning the zone uninhabitable for ten years.50 years later, of artificial forms of life humanoides known under the name of " Snatchers" start to make speak about them on the artificial island of Neo Kobe City, killing their victims to endorse their appearance and to infiltrate in the company. Nobody knows their origins. In Gillian Seed, an amnesic working for Junker, the section of police force responsible for the anti-Snatcher fight, to include/understand which is Snatchers and in what its past is related to them…

The versions on PC-8801 and MSX do not contain the third part of the history ( Act III ).
The version Mega CD is new in Japan. It is the only version to be translated into English and published in Europe and in the United States.
SD Snatcher is an adaptation of the play in the form of a RPG.
